OUR STORY
We love food… it really begins and ends with that. We do!! We LOVE food!!
We love the smells of peppers and onions being sauteed… of fresh herbs being plucked and minced… of a freshly-made mushroom cream sauce bubbling on the stove… of a french toast bread pudding or crunchy parmesan croutons baking in the oven.
We love the sound of pepitas toasting under the broiler or a pot of coffee burbling to life… a pitcher of milk being frothed for a hand-tamped latte… the laughter of folks around the table eating a good meal… the sigh when they take their first bite.
We love the colors of food…. the brilliant green of fresh hand cut hearts of romaine… the deep crimson of wine-marinated cranberries… the subtle oranges and yellows of the mango and ginger in the stilton cheese… the kaleidoscope of colors in a bowl of cioppino.
We love to eat. We are those folks who live to eat… not eat to live. Whether it’s a great lasagne or street taco… a filet mignon or a cheeseburger, we savor every bite. Sometimes we close our eyes and breathe in the whole experience of the food… the smell and the taste.
There’s nothing better to us and that’s why we are here… to share our love of food with you. To share stories of ingredients and processes… to lift your food experience to new heights and learn more about food ourselves in the process… to be a small part of your food journey and hopefully to inspire you with ours…

OUR VISION
To us, vision encompasses so much more than how we serve our customers when they are with us…. it extends to serving our community and then our world. What is more important, we ask ourselves… making food that transports people, making sure our facilities are welcoming and comfortable, not adding to landfill and keeping our carbon footprint small, making the perfect doppio con panna, being an awesome place to work for our employees, supporting the many groups, clubs, and associations in and around our community, lifting our customers and our employees hearts by their experiences at our hands…
Our overall vision is all of these things… every day and every minute no matter what else is going on in our little worlds and in our larger world, within our walls we strive to lift people up. We do that with our deep love of food and our commitment to excellent customer service. Our staff are vision heroes, with the customer experience always top of mind.
Fulfilling that vision is a moving target… while we all here at Cosmo’s share a common vision of the customer experience, the days and weeks bring us new opportunities and challenges that skew our vision… most days we are making choices about what can get our focus… our investment… our inspiration.
